EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO DRESS AS A NEPHITE.
A simple tunic or scrap material wrap-around robe is all you need.
Marketplace activities and dinner will be served!
Please bring a bean salad or tortilla chips & salsa
If you have silk or plastic plants and/or trees we could use for decorations, please let me know!
If you were a Nephite in Zarahemla at the time of Samuel the Lamanite, would you have believed on his prophecy of the coming of Jesus Christ in to the world? We hope everyone will come and attend this special event and feel for themselves the magic of Christmas!

Spuds, Suds & Scouts!! . . . . Oh, my!

Friday, October 8th we are having a
Spuds, Suds & Scouts
Ward Dinner!!!
Come join the fun at 6:30 pm at Lions Park in College Place. A ward dinner of baked potato bar (spuds) and home-made root beer floats (suds) will be provided. ALSO we have a wonderful opportunity to support our 2nd ward Boy Scout program by attending a
Rank Advancement / Court of Honor.
(Scouts).
This is also a voluntary fundraiser for the 2nd Ward Scouting Program so bring your spare change, your loose dollars & your checkbook. We would love to help the program raise funds to support the Scouts of our ward.

Ward Campout at Teancum Timbers

Is Campout one word or two? Camp-out, Camp Out, Campout . . . . doesn't matter, . . . .the fact is that WW2nd Ward is having one, a ward one, that is!!!

August 27th and 28th at
Teancum Timbers


Arrive Friday afternoon or evening at your leisure to set up your camp site. First come, first pick. Please bring your own family dinner Friday evening. A campfire will be available for cooking coals or hot dog roasting, though please bring your own roasting sticks. Paper goods will be provided.

7:00 pm – S’mores (bring your roasting stick)
7:30 p.m. – Campfire songs and testimonies

Saturday morning breakfast will be provided by the ward. Yum, Yum!!

Saturday morning will be games, activities, exploring, relaxing, reflecting and visiting.
11:00 a.m. is camp breakdown and clean up.

Please remember to bring:
Tent and camping gear, Drinks and Snacks (if desired)
Lawn chairs, Bug repellent, Roasting Sticks, Flashlights or Lanterns, Fishing gear (if desired, but remember your WA State license), Sports equipment, and A fun attitude
